When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and
there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the
area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it
with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the
Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first
line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line)
and with slightly different comment styles than us.
In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility
and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style.
This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared
license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag
contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag
and have introduced one.

Each imx image is created by a separate sub-make and during this process
the mkimage config file is run though cpp.
The cpp output is to the same file no matter what imx image is being
created.
This means if two imx images are generated in parallel they will attempt
to independently produce the same pre-processed mkimage config file at
the same time.
Avoid the problem by making the pre-processed config file name unique
based on the imx image it will be used in. This way each image will
create a unique config file and they won't clobber each other when run
in parallel.
This should fixed the build bug referenced in b5b0e4e3 ("imximage:
Remove failure when no IVT offset is found").

Since fuse regs structure are different for i.MX6/7, use mac
address offset in code and define a new local struture
imx_mac_fuse.

The "clocks" and "bootaux" commands are only usable in full U-Boot, not
SPL, so do not link them inside of SPL. Rework a little of the bootaux
related code to make use of __weak and declare parts of it static as
it's local to the file.

The i.MX 6UL/ULL feature a Cortex-A7 CPU which suppor the ARM
generic timer. This change makes use of the ARM generic timer in
U-Boot.
This is crucial to make the ARM generic timers usable in Linux since
timer_init() initalizes the system counter module, which is necessary
to use the generic timers CP15 registers.

At present CONFIG_CMD_SATA enables the 'sata' command which also brings
in SATA support. Some boards may wish to enable SATA without the command.
Add a separate CONFIG to permit this.

Implement soc level functions to get cpu rev, reset cause, enable cache,
etc. We will disable the wdog and init clocks in s_init at very early u-boot
phase.
Since the we are seeking the way to get chip id for mx7ulp, the get_cpu_rev
is hard coded to a fixed value. This may change in future.
Reuse some code in imx-common.

To being able to sign created binaries, we need to know the HAB Blocks
for that image. Especially for the imximage type the HAB Blocks are
only available during creation of the image. We want to preserve the
information until we get to sign the files.
In the verbose case we still get them printed out instead of writing
to log files.

These files are blowing up the SPL and should not be required
there as the SPL delivers no command console. Because building fails
for mx27 and mx31 machines with SPL build, we remove the linker flag
for them from the Makefile. Nothing is built for them to be linked
in that directory.

The echo -ne "\xNN" does not work in certain bourne-compatible shells, like
dash. The recommended way of hex->char conversion is using printf(1), but
there is a pitfall here. The GNU printf does support "\xNN" format, but
according to the opengroup documentation, this is not part of POSIX. The
POSIX printf only defines "\NNN" where N is octal. Thus, for the sake of
compatibility, we use that.

To boot a auxiliary core in asymmetric multicore system, introduce the
new command "bootaux" to do it. Example of boot auxliary core from
0x70000000 where stores the boot head information that should be
parsed by auxiliary core, "bootaux 0x70000000".
Introduce Kconfig option IMX_BOOTAUX.

In order to avoid code duplication, move the DDR3 initialization to the
common place under imx-common. Currently ROW_DIFF and COL_DIFF can be
chosen from the board file. The JEDEC timings are specified using a
common ddr3_jedec_timings structure.

Freescale's SEC block has built-in Data Encryption
Key(DEK) Blob Protocol which provides a method for
protecting a DEK for non-secure memory storage.
SEC block protects data in a data structure called
a Secret Key Blob, which provides both confidentiality
and integrity protection.
Every time the blob encapsulation is executed,
a AES-256 key is randomly generated to encrypt the DEK.
This key is encrypted with the OTP Secret key
from SoC. The resulting blob consists of the encrypted
AES-256 key, the encrypted DEK, and a 16-bit MAC.
During decapsulation, the reverse process is performed
to get back the original DEK. A caveat to the blob
decapsulation process, is that the DEK is decrypted
in secure-memory and can only be read by FSL SEC HW.
The DEK is used to decrypt data during encrypted boot.

U-Boot uses the 'mkimage' tool to produce various image types,
not only uImage image type. Rename the invocation name from
UIMAGE to MKIMAGE.
The following command was used to do the replacement:

Now we are ready to switch over to real Kbuild.
This commit disables temporary scripts:
scripts/{Makefile.build.tmp, Makefile.host.tmp}
and enables real Kbuild scripts:
scripts/{Makefile.build,Makefile.host,Makefile.lib}.
This switch is triggered by the line in scripts/Kbuild.include

We need to adjust some build scripts for U-Boot.
But smaller amount of modification is preferable.
Additionally, we need to fix compiler flags which are
locally added or removed.
In Kbuild, it is not allowed to change CFLAGS locally.
Instead, ccflags-y, asflags-y, cppflags-y,
CFLAGS_$(basetarget).o, CFLAGS_REMOVE_$(basetarget).o
are prepared for that purpose.

This patch adds the IOMUX support for Vybrid VF610 platform.
There is a little difference for IOMUXC module between VF610 and i.MX
platform, the muxmode and pad configuration share one 32bit register on
VF610, but they are two independent registers on I.MX platform. A
CONFIG_IOMUX_SHARE_CONFIG_REG was introduced to fit this difference.

The U-Boot SPL can parse the uImage format and gather information from
it about the payload. Make use of this and wrap u-boot.bin into uImage
format. The benefit is the SPL will know the size of the payload
instead of using fixed size of the payload defined at compile time.

This patch moves the following functions into the imx-common
directory:
- mxs_wait_mask_set()
- mxs_wait_mask_clr()
- mxs_reset_block()
These are currently used by i.MX28. But the upcoming GPMI NAND port
for i.MX6 will also use these functions. So lets move them to a
common location to re-use them.

This image combines the SPL with the i.MX header, the FCB and U-Boot.
For i.MX25/35/51, the FCB is ignored by the boot ROM, so this image is just
useful because it can be programmed on a NAND Flash page boundary.
For i.MX53, the FCB is required by the boot ROM.
This does not support i.MX6 so far because its FCB is more complicated.

convenient way of having a single image to program on some boot devices.
The i.MX header has to be added to the SPL before appending U-Boot, so that the
boot ROM loads only the SPL.

trouble, so change to /* */.
The mkimage command which uses this preprocessor output
was moved to arch/arm/imx-common/Makefile
.gitignore was updated to ignore .cfgtmp files.

Up now only MX5 and MX6 can share code, because they have
a common source directory in cpu/armv7. Other not armv7
i.MX can profit of the same shared code. Move these files
into a directory accessible for all, similar to plat-mxc
in linux.
